Core Summary

The Genomics and Technology Core (GTC) provides state-of-the-art genomics technologies and expert support to sustain and advance faculty-driven scientific projects at CGM and across MGB. Equipped with specialized personnel and cutting-edge instrumentation, the core enables the development and engineering of genomics libraries for virtually all modern genomics approaches at a sustainable cost. Generate thousands of high-quality libraries annually, using both established sequencing methods (e.g., exome, genome, bulk RNA-seq), and innovating technologies (e.g., single-cell RNA-seq, ATACseq), and custom solutions (e.g., long-insert “jumping” whole-genome, region RNA capture-seq, microRNA-seq, and ribosomal depletion RNA-seq). Our expert team provides comprehensive technical support and bioinformatics guidance to maximize research impact. Led by Dr. Talkowski, with molecular and bioinformatics operations managed by Dr. Celine de Esch and Dr. Serkan Erdin, the GTC is dedicated to advancing scientific discovery.
