Seahorse Core

The Seahorse Core falls under the Cardiovascular Flow Core and supports the use of an XFe24 Extracellular Flux Analyzer from Seahorse Biosciences to perform sensitive measurements of oxygen consumption rate and extracellular acidification rate in cultured cells, tissues, or model organisms in a 24-well format.

Acknowledging Core Support

Please acknowledge the core facility in all publications, posters, and presentations. When appropriate, also acknowledge core staff for technical assistance with experiments or data analysis and consider their inclusion as authors when their scientific contributions merit this recognition. Please include the following statement in the acknowledgement section of manuscripts:

Cell bioenergetic analysis was performed in collaboration with the Seahorse Core in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
